What Will RFID Replace?

The innovative technology of RFID can potentially replace numerous other tools. They can replace payment cards such as credit cards by implanting an RFID chip in a card and simply waving it like a SpeedPass. It can also replace passports by holding all the personal information needed about an individual and more to allow them to travel internationally.  It can replace animal identification tags used by farmers or pet owners by attaching an RFID tag to the animal or implanting them with a chip. Most notably RFID technology can replace barcodes. This will be convenient for companies that must keep inventory and also those who make shipments and must track their merchandise.
